This winch features a first speed that allows for quick recovery, even under significant loads. As the load increases, the winch smoothly transitions to a second speed by changing the direction of the crank rotation, maximizing its power.

Constructed from robust black anodized aluminum, the drum is not only scratch-resistant but also remarkably durable, enhanced by a Teflon coating. Alternatively, a chrome version is available, where the drum, self-guiding discs (ST), and ST arm are meticulously polished and nickel-coated before receiving a final chrome finish.

Maintenance is straightforward; simply remove the top ring to disassemble the winch for easy cleaning and service. The innovative XT self-guiding system incorporates a fixed upper disc with an integrated ST arm and a spring-mounted self-regulating lower disc. This system automatically adjusts to accommodate various rope diameters and, in cases of overload, releases the line to prevent excessive tension on the ST arm.

The drum features a vertical ribbing that optimizes horizontal friction, enabling efficient rope ascent. The differentiated grip design (exclusive to aluminum drums) reduces friction at the bottom, where loads are heaviest, while enhancing grip at the top, where loads are lighter. This design ensures a consistent hold throughout the drum.

The CNC machined base is both lighter and stronger than conventional castings, made from hard black anodized aluminum with a Teflon coating. Its easy removal from the winch facilitates maintenance tasks.
