We are pleased to introduce the VETUS GRP STERN250P stern thruster tunnel, featuring a diameter of 250 mm. This robust fiberglass tunnel is specifically designed for installation at the stern of VETUS bow thrusters.

By combining a VETUS bow thruster with a VETUS stern thruster, you will significantly enhance your vessel’s maneuverability in marinas and locks. Docking becomes much simpler. With a directional thruster at the bow and another at the stern, you will be able to easily handle docking, undocking, and positioning in marinas or locks. This setup also effectively assists in managing the effects of wind and current.

The installation of a VETUS stern thruster is quite straightforward. The electric motor and other essential components are housed within the stern of the vessel, while the stern thruster tunnel and propeller are mounted externally.

We offer seven different stern thruster kits, capable of producing 14 different models of stern thrusters.
These kits are also suitable for ‘ignition-proof’ thrusters and those intended for extended operations.
