- Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Electroblau. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.electroblau.com (the “Website”) and all purchases of products made through it. By browsing the Website, creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping & Delivery, Returns & Refunds, Warranty & Complaints and Payment Methods pages, which form part of these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website or place an order.
- About Us
The Website is operated by:
• Company name: Teknoville OÜ
• Trading name: Electroblau
• Registered address: Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia
• Company registration no.: 17371611 (Estonian Commercial Register)
• VAT ID: EE102927036
• Email: info@electroblau.com
In these Terms, “Electroblau”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator above. “You” and “your” refer to any person who visits the Website or places an order.
- Eligibility
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. Orders may be placed by consumers and by business customers (for example boat owners, professionals, charter companies and marine businesses). Where these Terms treat consumers and business customers differently, this is stated expressly.
- Our Products and Product Information
Electroblau sells marine and boating equipment, including cleaning and maintenance products, comfort equipment, dinghies and accessories, electrical equipment, marine engine parts, marine hardware, marine plumbing, marine safety equipment, mooring and anchoring equipment, navigation equipment, sailboat equipment, sailing clothing and water sports accessories.
We make every reasonable effort to describe and display our products accurately. However:
• Colours, finishes and packaging may differ slightly from the images shown on screen.
• Dimensions, capacities and technical specifications are taken from manufacturers’ data and may be updated by the manufacturer without notice.
• Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products offered.
• Products are sold in the quantities and sizes stated on the product page. Please check size, compatibility and technical requirements before ordering.
Compatibility and suitability
Marine equipment must be correctly matched to your vessel, engine, electrical system and intended use. You are responsible for checking that a product is compatible and suitable for your needs before ordering. If you are unsure, please contact our support team before purchasing. We are glad to help, but our advice does not replace the manufacturer’s instructions or the guidance of a qualified marine technician.
- Prices and Taxes
• All prices are shown in euros (EUR) unless stated otherwise.
• Prices shown to consumers include applicable VAT unless the product page or checkout states otherwise. VAT rates are applied according to the delivery destination and applicable law.
• Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown separately and are displayed before you confirm your order.
• Orders delivered outside the European Union, or to certain special territories, may be subject to import duties, customs clearance fees and local taxes. These are the responsibility of the recipient unless we state otherwise at checkout.
• We may change prices and run promotions at any time. The price that applies is the one displayed at the time you place your order. Promotional prices apply only for the period and conditions stated.
• Despite our efforts, an item may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price. If we discover an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid, or offer you the option to confirm the order at the correct price.
- Placing an Order and Contract Formation
- Add the products you wish to buy to your cart and proceed to checkout.
- Enter your delivery and billing details, choose a delivery option and a payment method.
- Review your order and submit it by clicking the order confirmation button.
- After submitting, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement is not our acceptance of your order.
- A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation or shipping confirmation email, or when we dispatch the products, whichever happens first.
We may refuse or cancel an order, in whole or in part, for reasons including product unavailability, pricing or description errors, suspected fraud, failed payment verification, delivery restrictions or inability to verify your details. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and complete. We are not liable for failed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete details.
- Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which currently include Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Further details are available on our Payment Methods page.
• Payment is taken when you place your order unless a different arrangement is shown at checkout.
• Payments are processed by independent, secure third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
• Your order may be subject to verification checks by us or by the payment provider. We may delay or cancel an order if payment cannot be authorised or verified.
• If you use a payment method that requires additional authentication (for example 3-D Secure), your order will not be processed until authentication succeeds.
- Shipping and Delivery
We deliver across Europe. Delivery destinations, costs and estimated times are shown at checkout and described on our Shipping & Delivery page.
• Free shipping: Free shipping applies only to selected orders and destinations, as indicated on the Website. Eligibility conditions are displayed at the time of purchase.
• Delivery times are estimates and depend on product availability, the supplier’s stock location, the carrier and customs procedures. Unless a different delivery period has been expressly agreed with you, we will deliver the goods without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. If we fail to deliver within the agreed period, you may exercise the remedies available under applicable consumer law.
• Split deliveries: Items in one order may be dispatched separately or from different warehouses. You will not be charged additional shipping for a split delivery unless we told you so before you ordered.
• Bulky or special items: Large, heavy or specially handled products (for example dinghies, davits, batteries, anchors, chain or long rope lengths) may be subject to different delivery conditions, costs and lead times, which will be shown on the product page or confirmed by us.
• Restricted items: Certain products, such as pyrotechnic signals, flares, gas cylinders, lithium or lead-acid batteries and other regulated goods, are subject to transport and import regulations. We may refuse, restrict or limit the shipment of such items to certain countries, and may ask for additional documentation.
• Risk and ownership: Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or a person you have designated (other than the carrier) takes physical possession of the goods. Ownership passes to you when we have received full payment.
• Inspect on delivery: Please check your parcel when it arrives. If it is visibly damaged or incomplete, note this with the carrier where possible, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs, so we can assist you. This 48-hour request is intended to help us investigate the issue with the carrier and does not limit or affect your statutory rights regarding defective, damaged or non-conforming goods.
- Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Our Returns & Refunds page explains the practical return process. The following terms apply in addition.
• Consumers in the European Union / EEA
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party you have named (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in several shipments, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example by email to info@electroblau.com or by post to Teknoville OÜ at its registered office, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. The physical return address may differ depending on the product and the dispatch warehouse. We will provide the applicable authorised return address promptly after receiving your withdrawal notice, and please do not return goods to the registered office unless we instruct you to do so. Withdrawal notices can also be submitted through our contact form at www.electroblau.com/contact-us/ by selecting the enquiry type “Warranty & returns” and stating that you wish to withdraw from the contract, together with your order number. We will confirm receipt of your notice by email without undue delay after we receive it. You may use the model withdrawal form set out in the Annex to these Terms, but you are not required to. You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your withdrawal.
Costs: Unless we have agreed otherwise, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that we informed you of this cost before you ordered. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the estimated return cost or the method used to calculate it will be disclosed before purchase or on the relevant product page. You are liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Refunds: We will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (excluding any additional cost resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method), within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
• Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
In accordance with applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to, among other things:
• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example cut-to-length rope or chain, spliced or custom-made lines, custom covers or products manufactured to order);
• Goods that are sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery;
• Goods which, after delivery, have become inseparably mixed with other items, where the applicable law excludes the right of withdrawal;
• Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• Sealed audio, video or software products that have been unsealed.
We may also be unable to accept the return of certain regulated products, such as used pyrotechnics or items containing consumables that have been activated or discharged (for example a lifejacket whose automatic inflation system has been triggered or a fire extinguisher that has been used).
• Condition of returned goods
Returned goods should be unused, undamaged, complete and in their original packaging with all accessories and documentation. Where permitted by applicable law, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Installation, use or handling beyond that extent may likewise result in such a deduction.
• Business customers and non-EU customers
If you are a business customer, or if you are located outside the EU/EEA, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. Returns are accepted at our discretion and on the conditions set out on our Returns & Refunds page.
- Warranty and Defective Goods
• Statutory rights
If you are a consumer, you are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity under the law of your country of residence. Within the European Union this is a minimum of two years from delivery. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
• Legal guarantee and commercial warranties
Consumers benefit from a minimum two-year statutory legal guarantee of conformity. This legal guarantee is provided by the seller and applies independently of any additional manufacturer’s or commercial warranty. Where we or the manufacturer offer an additional commercial warranty, its scope, duration, territory and claim procedure are stated on the product page or in the product documentation, and it does not replace or limit your statutory rights.
• What the warranty does not cover
To the extent permitted by applicable law, warranty cover does not extend to damage or failure caused by:
• Normal wear and tear, including wear to ropes, fabrics, seals, gaskets, bulbs, filters, anodes and other consumable or sacrificial parts;
• Incorrect installation, improper use, lack of maintenance or use contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions;
• Unauthorised repairs, modifications or use of non-original spare parts;
• Accidents, collisions, lightning, fire, flood or extreme weather;
• Corrosion or damage resulting from galvanic or electrolytic action, incorrect electrical connections or stray current;
• Use of a product outside its stated specifications or for a purpose for which it was not designed.
• How to make a claim
Please contact us through the details on our Warranty & Complaints page, including your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs or videos where possible. We may ask for the product to be returned for inspection. Where a product does not conform to the contract, the remedies available to the consumer, including repair, replacement, price reduction or termination and refund, will be provided in the order and under the conditions required by applicable law.
- Safety-Critical Equipment
Certain products we sell, including life jackets, buoyancy aids, lifebuoys, life rafts, fire extinguishers, pyrotechnic signals, rescue slings and other safety accessories, are designed to protect life and property.
• Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation, use, servicing and replacement.
• Inflatable life jackets, life rafts, extinguishers and pyrotechnics must be inspected, serviced and replaced according to the manufacturer’s schedule and local regulations. Some items have an expiry date.
• Buoyancy ratings, certifications and approvals vary by product. It is your responsibility to check that the product meets the legal and safety requirements for your vessel, your activity, your cruising area and the flag state or country in which you sail.
• No product can guarantee safety in all conditions. Responsible seamanship, training and appropriate precautions remain essential.
- Technical and Electrical Products
Electrical, electronic, plumbing, fuel-related and engine components should be installed by a competent person, ideally a qualified marine technician. We are not responsible for loss or damage arising from incorrect installation, incorrect wiring, inadequate fusing, unsuitable voltage or any installation that does not follow the manufacturer’s instructions or applicable standards.

We aim to keep the Website available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the Website for maintenance, updates, security reasons or events beyond our control, without liability to you.
- Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, liability for defective products under mandatory product liability rules, or any statutory consumer rights.
Towards consumers, our liability is governed by applicable mandatory law, and the limitations below do not apply to consumers. For business customers only, and subject to the above, the following limitations apply:
• We are not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of use of your vessel, mooring or berthing costs, charter losses, towing or salvage costs, or other losses arising from product choice, installation or use.
• To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for the products concerned.
If you are a business customer, we additionally exclude, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties and conditions not expressly stated in these Terms.
- Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where it is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, government actions, transport disruptions, supplier or carrier failures, customs delays, power or telecommunications failures, or cyber attacks. Where such an event continues for a prolonged period, either party may cancel the affected order, and we will refund any sums paid for undelivered goods.
- Export, Sanctions and Compliance
You must comply with all applicable export, import and sanctions laws. We may refuse to supply or ship goods to destinations, persons or end uses where doing so would breach applicable law or where we reasonably suspect a breach.
- Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The version published on the Website on the date you place your order is the version that applies to that order. Changes do not affect orders already placed. We encourage you to review this page regularly. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the Terms were last revised.

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another company. Any transfer will not reduce your statutory rights or guarantees, and we will notify you where required by applicable law. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
• Language: These Terms are available in English and German. If there is any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
• Third parties: No person other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.

If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from the mandatory provisions of your local law, and nothing in these Terms removes them.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@electroblau.com so we can try to resolve it directly. We will acknowledge and respond to written consumer complaints within 15 days, as required by applicable Estonian law. If we cannot provide a final resolution within that period, we will explain the reason for the delay and the next steps.
Consumers in the EU: If we cannot resolve a consumer complaint directly, eligible consumers may refer the dispute to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon), operating under the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA). We are willing to participate in such proceedings. Further information and eligibility requirements are available at www.ttja.ee.
For business customers, and to the extent permitted by law, the courts of Tallinn, Estonia have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where the law gives them that right.
